If you haven’t heard this commercial yet, I am sure you will soon. It goes something like this. “Are you $10k or more in credit card debt? Take advantage of the federal bailout services now available.” If you are head deep in high interest credit card debt, feeling the pressure of servicing the loan(s), and hear of an escape that doesn’t involve bankruptcy you are probably very interested in hearing about this program. The problem is most of them are a scam at worst, or a rip off at best. That doesn’t mean they all are, but for the majority of them they are not worth the amount they charge.
